Accounting Controller

Reports to:

GM

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related experience/field preferred

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and strong analytical and problem solving skills. A strong desire to learn and implement process improvements along with the ability to prioritize, efficiently plan work activities along with being detailed and result oriented is critical to this position.

We are looking for an individual with 4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting. Additional qualifications we would like to see but not required: 

• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with Accounting Software

Essential Functions:

• responsible for month end close and the financial reporting process
• supervise the overall accounting team
